Meet Jesse Hohlt
Meet Jesse Hohlt
Jesse Hohlt brings a background in forestry science from Oregon State University and practical experience in timber management and forestry operations. As the owner of Columbia Gorge Forestry, he works directly with landowners to understand what they want for their property and develop a plan for its future.
That work extends from assessing timber and planning harvests to managing vegetation and maintaining access.
Based in Cascade Locks, Oregon, we serve landowners across the Columbia Gorge, Willamette Valley, and Southern Washington.

Planning and fieldwork
Before fieldwork begins, we agree on what needs to be done and in what order, accounting for terrain and access.
Forest inventory and mapping
We use forest measurements, GIS maps, and drone surveys to understand your timber resources and guide decisions on the ground.
Long-term forest management
We plan for timber production, wildlife habitat, and forest health, with attention to how today’s work will shape future growth.
