Foresters in the Columbia Gorge, Willamette Valley & Southern Washington
Based in Cascade Locks, Oregon, we provide on-the-ground forestry services across 8 counties in Oregon and Washington.
8 Counties, 2 States
From the wet, dense forests west of the Cascades to the drier pine and oak woodlands to the east, we work across a wide range of forest types and terrain. Our knowledge of local conditions, regulations, and markets means better outcomes for your property.
The Columbia Gorge
The heart of our operation. The Columbia River Gorge presents unique forestry challenges — steep terrain, high rainfall on the west end, drier conditions to the east, and a mix of Douglas fir, western red cedar, and Oregon white oak ecosystems. We know this landscape intimately and work with private landowners, municipalities, and federal agencies throughout the Gorge.
Hood River County, OR
Hood River, Cascade Locks, Parkdale, Mt. Hood
From the dense forests on the slopes of Mt. Hood to the oak woodlands of the eastern Gorge, Hood River County landowners face diverse management needs. We provide timber cruising, harvest planning, and reforestation services throughout the county.
Skamania County, WA
Stevenson, Carson, North Bonneville
Skamania County is one of the most heavily forested counties in Washington. We work with private timber owners and small woodland managers on harvest planning, road maintenance, and vegetation management in this rugged terrain.
Wasco County, OR
The Dalles, Mosier, Dufur
The transition zone between west-side forests and east-side dry woodlands. Wasco County properties often require specialized management for fire risk reduction, juniper encroachment, and ponderosa pine stand improvement.
Klickitat County, WA
White Salmon, Bingen, Goldendale, Lyle
Klickitat County's mix of commercial timberland and rangeland-forest interfaces demands careful planning. We help landowners with timber sales, fuel reduction, and forest health assessments across the county.
Willamette Valley & Portland Metro
The Willamette Valley's productive soils and mild climate grow some of the best timber in the world. We serve landowners throughout the valley and greater Portland area — from small rural woodlots to large commercial timber holdings.
Clackamas County, OR
Oregon City, Sandy, Estacada, Molalla
Clackamas County stretches from the Portland suburbs into the foothills of the Cascades. We work with landowners on forest management plans, timber sales, and invasive species control — particularly in the rapidly growing urban-wildland interface areas near Sandy and Estacada.
Multnomah County, OR
Portland, Gresham, Troutdale, Corbett
Even in Oregon's most urban county, significant forested acreage exists in the eastern hills and along the Sandy River corridor. We help property owners manage their woodlands, clear vegetation, and maintain compliance with forest practice rules.
Washington County, OR
Hillsboro, Beaverton, Forest Grove, North Plains
The Tualatin Valley and Coast Range foothills of Washington County support productive Douglas fir forests. We assist landowners with timber inventory, harvest planning, and reforestation on properties ranging from small family woodlots to larger commercial tracts.
Southern Washington
Just across the Columbia River, Southern Washington's forests share many characteristics with Oregon's — but operate under Washington's own forest practice rules and regulations. We're fully versed in both states' requirements.
Clark County, WA
Vancouver, Camas, Washougal, Battle Ground, Ridgefield
Clark County is one of Washington's fastest-growing counties, making forest management in the urban-rural fringe more important than ever. We provide forestry consulting services in Camas, Washougal, and the rural areas north of Vancouver — helping landowners navigate development pressure while managing their timber resources.
